Hello, friends and fellow yarnaholics. i am embarking on a journey to create a queen sized beekeeper quilt. The beekeeper quilt pattern is available for purchase on ravelry and I won't be sharing how to make it here out of respect for the pattern creators.
The quilt is constructed out of tiny little hexagons (hexies) made from sock yarn, each little hexagon is about 3 inches across. so I will need about 800 hexies. The pattern calls for them to be stuffed with polyfill, but I have elected not to do that. I have made about 10 so far but keep slacking off so my plan is to make at least 10 every week until it is finished. I am going to take the Internet along on the journey. Wish me luck!
